Bill Lester has known from his earliest years that he wanted to be a lawyer and a litigator.  Upon graduation from Emory Law School, he immediately commenced his practice as a courtroom lawyer, and has been a tireless advocate for his clients for almost 30 years.  Bill’s skills and experience allow him to drive his clients’ cases to their most expeditious and successful results- whether by negotiation of a prompt and fair resolution, courtroom advocacy, or both.  Bill’s practice is focused on civil and business litigation, domestic relations and family law, personal injury, and workers’ compensation.

Bill’s education includes an undergraduate history degree from Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana, with Junior year study in London, England, and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law, in Atlanta, Georgia.  While in law school, he clerked for the late Honorable Joel J. Fryer in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia.  Bill began his trial and litigation practice in DeKalb County, Georgia and quickly immersed himself in the community and local Bar Association, becoming a Board Member of the DeKalb Bar Association and serving in executive positions each year until becoming President in 1990-1991, at which time the Bar Association received numerous awards from the State Bar of Georgia.

Bill Lester is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Cobb County Bar Association, the DeKalb Bar Association and the City of Atlanta Bar Association.  He is married, has two children, and remains actively involved in the metropolitan Atlanta community.  His interests include travel, gardening and cooking.
